Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- with Grade Pay Rs.2000/- (Contractual).

OSSC Soil Conservation Extension Worker Eligibility

Age Limit: 21-32 years as on 01.01.2017. Age Relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates.

Educational Qualification: Candidates having +2 Science or +2 Vocational Courses in Agriculture related subject i.e., Crop Production (CP)/Horticulture/Repair & Maintenance of Power Driven Farm Machinery (PDFM) from any of the recognised Board/Council or Institution are eligible to apply for the post.

Selection Process: Written Examination (Objective type)

  • Paper-I (General Studies and language) -100 marks
  • Paper-II (Technical Paper) -120 marks
  • There is Negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-II (Technical Paper).
  • There is no Viva-Voce Test.

Examination Fee: Rs.100/- (No Fee for ST/ SC/ PwD candidates)
